Line-interactive UPS System
A Line-Interactive UPS System is passive type of system which mainly used in an office environment. The system has an inverter which sits idle as mains utility is up. Meaning the inverter is 'inline' to the electrical grid, and only initiates when input power is lost.

These machine uses a microprocessor control to regulate the circuit through an auto transformer, connected to a modular PCB as its switching bridge. Meaning these machines are cheaper to maintain or to replace, when they malfunction.

Here @BigWinUPS we offer two ranges of Line Interactive UPS. One for "shorter" runtimes, and one for "longer" runtimes. Ranging from 650VA to 3KVA, where 1, 2 & 3 kVA Systems have the "long-run" option.
The machine has to have an external battery pack, as a bigger, more robust charger is installed into the machine. Here we have do some consultation to best advise you on what type of battery will best suit you and for the backup time you require.
